New Forest Colts League matches for the Under 11 (A and B) and Under 15 players take place on Sunday mornings, with the Under 13 'A' and 'B' teams playing on Thursday evenings. We now have an Under 9 side which plays matches on a Friday evening.

Friendly matches are occasionally arranged for the Under 11 players who do not get a regular game. This ensures that all boys and girls do have an opportunity to take part in some form of competitive cricket.

Saturday matches in Hampshire County 2 (1st XI), Regional 2 South West (2nd XI) and Regional 4 South Central (3rd XI). Sunday and friendly matches against local and touring teams.

Coaching sessions are held weekly for boys and girls aged 8-17. The U9, U11 and U13 squads train on Wednesday evenings, 1800 – 2100 hours, while the U15 age group train Monday nights. Extra sessions, for smaller groups, are held as and when requested by the members with one to one sessions (with the parents present) also available.

Special sessions for other clubs are also held when the Club Coach is available to supervise.

Senior practice takes place on a Friday night.

LMCC hosts various finals for mid-week Cup and League competitions of the NFCCA and Border League.

LMCC also hosts several New Forest district youth matches each year, and have for the last few years hosted the New Forest Colts League Cup finals.

In addition to the above cricket activities, the ground and its facilities are available for use by local bodies.

Good links with schools and organisations are vital to ensure progression through the age groups to senior cricket. Such links encourage joint benefits, use of facilities, coaching and opportunities to play the game.

LMCC has seen a steadily growing involvement with local schools.
