Thanks to some hard work by committee members and other volunteers, funding was secured for a complete resurfacing and renovation of the practice nets, including a state of the art surface. The new matting has already been layed and looks awesome. Click the picture below to enlarge and have a look.

So the season is sadly now over, but Langley Manor continues as a club right through the year with various events and socials to keep us going till next year.

First up, the Colts and Adults Presentation Evenings were held last weekend with fantastic support from players and members alike. Great nights were had by all (some more than others !!), and I'm sure we'd all like to give a big thanks to the people who organised and ran the night. Trev assures me there are some photos to follow so I'll have them up as soon as they are available.

First date(s) for your diary are the 19th and 20th September when we will be having a 'put-away-day' ... a chance for us members and players to help sort the wicket for the winter and tidy up/put away anything that isnt needed over the winter. This includes sight screens, ropes, benches, covers, marquee and much more. So please venture down the Manor and help out.

The Sunday tidying session will be followed by live football in the clubhouse (Man U vs Man City @ 13.30 ... and ... Chelsea vs Spurs @ 16.00). Trev's "Greasy Spoon" will be open so a good chance to eat and drink and have something to burn off in time for next season.

....and remember to keep an eye on the site over the winter. There will always be events, updates and a few newsletters for you.

Well, I've knackered my calculator in the process, but the 1st XI averages are done and can be viewed in the 1st XI Fixtures and Results page. The tables there contain everyoe who has played this season. I will submit those that qualify to the League for inclusion in next years handbook.
